Start Healing from Trauma, Grief, and Burnout in Utah
You’ve spent years surviving, functioning, and “getting through”.
You’ve learned how to show up for work, for your family, for your community all while hiding the parts of you that feel heavy, confused, or undone.
From the outside, you appear capable and grounded, but inside you have carried the invisible weight of trauma, emotional neglect, spiritual wounding, or expectations that were never truly yours or never felt quite right.
Maybe you were taught to suppress your emotions, silence your doubts, or put others first.
Maybe you’re moving through a faith transition and questioning everything you once believed.
Maybe you’ve been the caregiver, the fixer, the one who holds it all together while no one holds or supports you.
You may have told yourself things like:
“I should be able to handle this.”
“I don’t want to fall apart again.”
“What if people knew how much I’m actually struggling?”
Let me be clear: You are not too much. You are not too broken.
Your pain makes sense. Change and healing are possible even if you’ve never seen it modeled.
Whatever your story, you are here now. And that means something inside you knows: You are ready for a different kind of life.
You’re Ready for Authentic Change
You want more than symptom management or surface-level advice. You want to live authentically and feeling like a whole self bringing your best.
You would like to understand and honor your limits and stop apologizing for your needs.
Whether you're working through religious trauma, family enmeshment, caregiver burnout, or the aftermath of being emotionally silenced you are ready to stop surviving and start tending to your real self.
You don’t need to earn your healing. You only need a safe space to begin working on it.
Therapy in Utah That Honors the Whole Person
I work with individuals across the state of Utah. Whether it’s Salt Lake City, Ogden, Provo, St. George, or in rural areas, through secure online trauma therapy we can meet wherever you are in the state.
As a BIPOC therapist with training outside of Utah, I bring an outside perspective that many of my clients find refreshing and affirming especially those navigating high-demand religious systems, identity shifts, longstanding emotional suppression, or belong to marginalized communities.
This is a space where your story will be held without agenda or judgment.
This Work Is For You If:
You’re experiencing religious trauma or questioning your faith
You feel emotionally numb, overextended, or chronically overwhelmed
You’ve been “the strong one”, “the responsible one”, “the dependable one” and you are tired
You are navigating a faith transition or deconstructing old belief systems
You want to stop abandoning yourself and start living more honestly
You crave support that is both clinically informed and deeply human
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
If you’re in Utah and ready to begin the work of untangling trauma, grief, and burnout I am here.
I offer compassionate, gender-affirming, culturally sensitive therapy grounded in trauma-informed care, the expressive arts, and deep relational safety.
Let’s begin the work of coming home to yourself. At your pace. Without pressure or pretense.
You’re not too much. You’re not too far gone. You’re worthy of healing right here, right now, just as you are.

Research says that online therapy is as effective as in person therapy.
Most clients report preferring online therapy as it is super convenient for their lives.
No more having to take 3 hours out of your day, no more paying for parking, no more having to arrange for child care in order to attend your therapy appointment.
-
While online therapy can be a convenient and effective option for most individuals, there are certain issues that may not be appropriate for this format. These include:
Severe Crisis Situations: Individuals in immediate danger of harming themselves or others require urgent in-person intervention. Online therapy is not appropriate to provide the necessary immediate support in a crisis.
Severe Mental Health Conditions: Conditions such as acute psychosis, severe substance abuse, or other disorders that require intensive monitoring and treatment are typically better suited for in-person facilities.
Child and Adolescent Therapy: Working with children under the age of 12 may present complexities that are best managed in a traditional therapy setting. In-person sessions can also create a safer environment for kids.
Lack of Appropriate Privacy: If a client struggles with privacy in their environment, such as living with others who may overhear the conversation, online therapy may not be appropriate.
Technical Issues: Clients who may struggle with technology may not have the same experience or ability to engage in online therapy, affecting the quality of the sessions.
